Dania: The Artist

I began painting when I was a little girl and have carried my love of art into my adulthood. In school, I studied some of the great painters like Picasso, Klimt, and Miro. I’ve also studied illustration, graphics, photography, clay, and metalwork. Since then, I’ve participated in various art shows and exhibits, placing in several competitions.

Being pregnant for the first time inspired me to find a way of expressing the miracle that was in progress. I began experimenting with various mediums in an effort to capture the emotion that was building up inside me. I began getting several requests from friends and family members to complete a variety of works for their own children; and in some instances, for themselves.

Today, most of my work encompasses creating customized artwork incorporating children’s names, and themes. For the last 5 years, I’ve also been creating Prenatal Belly Casts for women which are fast gaining in popularity.

My goal is to make sure that each piece is considered a keepsake for you and your family, capturing the uniqueness of each child and the distinctiveness of each experience. Please know that I have a deep appreciation for each piece that I create. With that in mind, I work closely with my clients during the design process and ensure that the recipient approves of the end product prior to delivery.
